About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed on brighterdogs.com with Poorly Pet Ltd, trading as Brighter, registered in England and Wales, company number 17086223, registered office 4 Lomas Road, Sandbach, Cheshire, CW11 3EE. By placing an order you accept them. Your statutory rights are not affected. Contact us at hello@brighterdogs.com.

Orders and prices

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Payment is taken at checkout. A contract forms when we email to say your order has been dispatched. We can decline an order before then, for example if a price was shown wrongly or stock has run out, and will refund anything paid.

Delivery

Standard UK delivery is £4.99 and free on orders over £50. Express delivery is £6.99. Delivery to the EU and Ireland is £14.99 and to the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway and other listed countries is £23.99. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Delivery times are on the delivery page. Risk passes to you on delivery. Any import duties or taxes outside the UK are your responsibility. If a parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, tell us within 48 hours of the expected date and we will replace it or refund you.

Subscriptions

A subscription renews at the interval you chose, at the price shown when you set it up, with 15% off the one-time price and free UK delivery. You can skip, pause, swap or cancel from your account. Changes made three days or more before a delivery apply to that delivery. There is no minimum term.

Cancelling and returning an order

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel an order up to 14 days after delivery. Return unopened tubs within 14 days of telling us and we will refund the tubs and standard delivery. Opened tubs are sealed consumables and cannot be returned for a change of mind, but if a tub is faulty, damaged or not as described we will replace it or refund it. Our products

Brighter products are complementary feeds for dogs. They are not veterinary medicines and do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Feed as directed on the tub. If your dog is unwell, pregnant, or on medication, ask your vet before starting.

Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Complaints and law

If something goes wrong, email hello@brighterdogs.com and a person will sort it out. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting your rights as a consumer elsewhere in the UK.
