Why Brighter
It started with a dachshund, a diagnosis, and a shelf full of tubs that would not say what was in them.
A dachshund called Lincoln
Lincoln is a dachshund, and dachshunds get IVDD. The diagnosis came with a long conversation about the spine, about stairs and sofas, and about looking after the joints and the back for the rest of his life.
That is what sent us to the shelf.

Every tub said something. None of them said how much.
We bought every joint supplement we could find. Every label listed green lipped mussel, glucosamine, MSM. Not one of them said how much of any of it was in a tablet. Most folded the lot into a proprietary blend with a single weight for eight ingredients.
We were guessing. So was the vet, when we showed him the tubs.

If it is not on the front, it is not in the tub.
One rule, and everything else came from it. Every active gets its own line and its own amount, per tablet, printed on the front where you can read it in the shop.
It sounds obvious. It rules out most of what is on the shelf.

A facility that makes it for people.
We found a UK facility that makes supplements for people to the same standard, and that would test every batch and give us the certificate. That is where all six tubs are made.
Ask for the certificate for the tub in your hand and we send it.

Move first. Then five more.
Move was the tub we needed. Then the same rule for the things owners ask about next: the stomach, the coat, the bladder, the everyday basics, and Move as a powder for the dogs that will not take a tablet.
Six tubs at launch. Nothing that claims to do everything.

Real dogs, on Brighter.
Lincoln is five and still on Move. The wall of dogs on the real dogs page is owners sending us theirs, with the tub they are on.
If a tub does not do what the front says, tell us. That is the deal.

The Brighter standard
What every tub has to meet before it goes on sale.
One tub, one job. Move is for joints. Gut is for digestion. Nothing in the range tries to do everything.
Every amount on the front. Each active on its own line with its amount. No proprietary blends.
Made and tested in the UK. Every batch made in a UK facility and tested before it ships. Certificate on request.
Back up the stairs on his own
Alfie is nine and had started refusing the stairs. Six weeks on Move and he is going up on his own again. I like that I can see exactly what is in it.
The first thing that settled her stomach
We tried three gut products before this one. Bella has been normal for a month now. Easy to give, she thinks the tablet is a treat.
Coat is noticeably better
Less scratching within about a month, and her coat has a shine it did not have before. Delivery took two days.
