Flow

For frequent trips out and repeat flare ups.

Flow is a urinary supplement for dogs prone to repeat flare ups. Cranberry and D-mannose work on adhesion, making it harder for bacteria to hold on to the bladder wall. Marshmallow root soothes the lining.

It is not an antibiotic and does not treat an active infection. If your dog is straining or there is blood, see your vet first, then use Flow to keep it from coming back.

Why Flow

Works on adhesion, and says so

Neither cranberry nor D-mannose kills bacteria. They make it harder for bacteria to hold on. That is why Flow is for prevention, not treatment.

Amounts you can check

500mg of D-mannose and 400mg of cranberry extract per tablet. Both on the front, both at the amounts used in the human evidence scaled for a dog.

Evening dose

The bladder sits fullest overnight. Give Flow with the evening meal and the actives are there when they are needed.

Three months, no flare up

Milo used to have a flare up every few weeks. Three months on Flow with his evening meal and nothing. Vet was happy with the label.

Questions about Flow

If yours is not here, email hello@brighterdogs.com and a person replies, usually within the hour on weekdays.

All questions
My dog has an infection now. Will Flow fix it?

No. See your vet for the infection, then use Flow to make the next one less likely.

Is it safe for a dog that has had crystals?

Ask your vet which type. Flow suits struvite-prone dogs; for oxalate, the vitamin C may not be wanted.

Can I give it with Gut?

Yes. Many dogs with a sensitive bladder have a sensitive stomach too.

How long does a tub last?

For a 20kg dog on one tablet a day, four months. Over 25kg on two, two months.

Can I subscribe and change it later?

Yes. 15% off every delivery, free delivery, and you can skip, pause, swap tubs or cancel from your account.

Male or female dogs?

Both. Repeat flare ups are more common in females, but Flow works the same way in either.
